And mine returns essentially identical:
gvfs-fuse-daemon on /home/gene/.gvfs type fuse.gvfs-fuse-daemon 
(rw,nosuid,nodev,user=gene)

So it doesn't look as if there is anything creative I can do there either.  
Oh well...
