I also don't believe that this will be a problem, but I haven't tested it with those specific versions. Another option might be to get the RPMs from the ZManda (http://www.zmanda.com/download-amanda.php). There are RPMs for 2.6.1p2 for RHEL 5 which should work fine on CentOS. We generally get the source RPM and re-compile it for all our OS versions to keep everything at the same patch level. Markus --- Markus A.
