Hi Chris

Much appreciated - just gave that a whirl now I can see both tapes!

~]$ amtape Config show
amtape: scanning all 8 slots in changer:
slot   1: date 20151103132545 label MyData01
slot   2: date 20151109111617 label MyData01

I notice use-slots is set to 1-12... is that because you have both LHS and RHS
tape magazines?

I'll probably try to leave the profiler going for the HP LTO6 on Friday before
going home.

thanks
David

Subject: Re: Quantum Superloader 3 - configuration

Hi David,

We run a Superloader 3 with an LTO4 drive. Here are some snips from my
amanda.conf:

define tapetype LTO-4 {
    length 794405408 kbytes
    filemark 1385 kbytes
    speed 77291 kps
    blocksize 32 kbytes
}

define changer Quantum-Superloader3-LTO-V4 {
    tapedev "chg-robot:/dev/sg3"
    property "use-slots" "1-12"
    property "tape-device" "0=tape:/dev/st0"
    device-property "LEOM" "TRUE"
}

This is running on Ubuntu 13.04.

I ended up using amtapetype due to not being able to locate a tape definition.
Someday I'll add it to the wiki.

Kind regards,
Chris
