Anyway.

Use FQDNs, check your /etc/hosts and DNS then planner should work fine.
I changed 'localhost' to fully qualified name and no succcess :(
Provide your amanda.conf, disklist and the output of the commands you
run and/or a report email.
"no success" is no useful start for helping you.
