A few things you might want to try. - what is the size of the configuration "use" for your holding disk? - do you have enough space on your disk for Amanda to copy the files from holding to tape: it is not just moving files around, but it is a copy, so you need at least free space as big as one file - have you tried amflush Best regards, Olivier
