No. (re signature question) Except when there’s a cute saying, which
I sometimes swipe.

I’ve done a little bit of vaulting, to get a years worth of backups off
old-tape-format and over to another machine to write to
new-tape-format.

So I vaulted twice. Once, to copy the backup off old-tape-format onto a
physical disk. I network mounted that disk onto the second machine.
Then used amvault to copy the backup from disk to new-tape-format.

That’s been a few years ago, but I might dredge up how I did it, if
you have any particular questions.

Deb Baddorf

previously swiped sig, which I’ve used other places:
They say God never gives you more than you can handle. Apparently God thinks
I’m a badass.
