Greetings all; One of the things I think amanda needs, is a vtape that can hold the maximum level 0 in the disklist. Using that estimate command, I see that such is not the case, so amanda is forced to use 2 vtapes on those days. So I have 2 or 3 that need further breaking up in order to make them actually fit.
However, the first change in the regex I made, generates this string of errors: Amanda Backup Client Hosts Check -------------------------------- HOST coyote ERROR: DUMP does not support exclude file HOST coyote ERROR: DUMP program not available HOST coyote ERROR: RESTORE program not available HOST coyote ERROR: dump will not be able to create the /etc/dumpdates file: Permission denied Client check: 5 hosts checked in 3.589 seconds. 4 problems found. How do I discover which disklist entry or dumptype is responsible? Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
