I'll write a bug report for Debian too but you could try to remove the
'quiet' option from the code if you have the newest smbclient version.
The quiet option doesn't seem to be supported with the newest smbclient
as a tar option.
Yes, that "quiet" bugs me for a long time already ;-)
I rm-ed it as well sometimes ago ... somehow it came back, maybe with a
reinstallation.
I'll add it later and see if the logs get more quiet with removing
"quiet" :-)
