Hi, So my configuration is a bit different, I also have 3 amanda configs but I make my backups to a holddisk and then to tape.
I never used amvault, I can't help there, but did you try amfetchdump to get the backups? if amfetchdump works the problem is related with recovering the files not accessing the tape. The logs don't say anything more?
