The first thing that comes to mind, is upgrading the perl 
modules that amavisd is using. IIRC, UUEncode is a candidate
for running amok. 

If the problem persists, Mark will probably
need the mail structure of those mails, so make sure to grab
the temporary directory of the process that crashes.

As a stop-gap solution, you can blacklist those sender addresses
in postfix.
