This SA problem is now fixed in the most recent CVS snapshots at: http://cvs.apache.org/snapshots/spamassassin/ thanks for reporting it. You may want to investigate why pyzor is/was timing out (the zombies problem was a consequence of unhandled timeouts). You may want to run: su vscan -c 'pyzor discover' every once in a while to make sure that the most recent pyzor server is used. There may even be a firewall problem regarding UDP reply packets to your pyzor queries.
