You may need to reinstall Perl module BerkeleyDB after upgrading libdb. No changes and no reinstall on amavisd-new are needed. On FreeBSD one puts a line like: WITH_BDB_VER=43 into /etc/make.conf, which influences later ports installs. I don't know what is needed on Linux for a clean upgrade of libdb.
