We have scores of 4.5 / 6.5 / 9.0 . I never found anything worth
quarantining over 10 [1]. We use bayes and dspam and find that they are
quite accurate and many border cases are decided correctly because one
of the statistical filters will say it's good while the other wants to
throw it in the bin so that for these cases the other rules give the
decision. We do not spend time for accurate training so I cannot afford
to set tag2 level too low or people will complain. But the kill level is
OK, just today I had a rare case of a false positive : a mail in korean
charset from a broken korean webmailer which was legitimately sent to
one of our users in Germany. This is acceptable for me.... Just now I am
playing around with p0f fingerprinting but I am not sure about the effect.
[1] Remark : Anyway I wonder how people review spam ? At our server with
about 100 users we get about 15,000 spams a week. Nobody can possibly
review that lot...
