Hello,

I've modified the /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf to include new rules
(SARE from rulesemporium) and new scores for the Bayes test.

Although these rules are used by the spamd daemon launched from
procmail rules, they are not used by amavis. It causes the following
problem:

The spam tagging/quarantine is not efficient: some spams not
tagged/quarantined by spamassassin, through amavis, are later tagged
as spam by spamassassin, through procmail. It can be seen with the
safe_report(=2) of spamassassin/procmail: the report includes an
embedded message (the spam) with headers added by spamassassin/amavis
indicating the new rules and scores are not used (to the contrary of
the embedding message headers).

I've tried to symbolic link the /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf to
/var/lib/amavis/.spamassassin/local.cf or
/var/lib/amavis/.spamassassin/user_prefs but it didn't worked. Of
course I've restarted amavis and spamassassin...

My config:
RHEL4
SpamAssassin 3.0.6 (2005-12-07)
amavisd-new-2.3.3
Sendmail 8.13.1

Thanks,

Vincent
