Since you are already accustomed to Mac, it would probably be more natural to switch to FreeBSD. You will have the quickest response and easy install of fresh updates on ClamAV, postfix, dovecot, amavisd-new, SpamAssassin, dkim-milter, SQL, dearchivers, ...
