Hi,

amavis-milter 0.3.12, sendmail 8.14.1.
In amavis, MAXFILES is set to 1000. When a mail with > 1000 files comes
in, amavis throws a TEMPFAIL, which causes the sending host to try to
re-deliver the mail again and again:

amavisd[21619]: Maximum number of files (1000) exceeded - mail requeued
amavisd[21619]: do_exit:961 - ending execution with 1

How can I convince amavis to use EX_UNAVAILABLE instead of EX_TEMPFAIL?
In the source, I found sendmail_init where REGERR is set to 75 - what if
I change this value to 69?
But I did not find any references to that file in the sources...

Any help is appreciated,

Rainer
