That's kind of a shame.  Well, I'm sure it's much more feature-rich than
the old script, but I'm not sure I need most of them.  I guess it's either
learn to play with amavisd.conf or be left in the dust.

I'm installing the port now and it seems to be dragging the world down to
compile.  I wonder if it's worth trying to make my old creaky script last
another generation...

By the way, I see some things never change (from the FAQ):

"sendmail/milter: because -odd option (deferred delivery mode) is now used
to submit notifications in the sendmail/milter setup, sendmail must be
told to periodically process the clientmqueue queue."
