Do you perhaps use the rules supplied by the "rules_du_jour" script?
Some of them can become quite large when loaded by Spamassassin. Do
you have multiple rulesets loaded again and again (faulty run of
sa-update)? Does running in debugging mode with SA debugging enabled
yield any hints on the source of the increase in memory consumption?
