Thanks for getting back to me, You are correct i am running chrooted but the syslogd does offer its socket up in the chroot jail. (in my rc.conf.local i have syslogd_flags="-a /var/amavisd/dev/log") and this as worked fine until this install. In any case i will focus on that is where the problem is coming from and see if i can track it down. I also changed from OpenBSD 4.3 to 4.4 so maybe something change in there as well.
Thanks Quoting Mark Martinec <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > The "SpamControl: init_pre_fork done" is probably the last log message > before forking occurs. My guess is that you are running amavisd chrooted, and > that your syslogd daemon does not offer its socket in a chroot jail. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ AMaViS-user mailing list AMaViS-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/amavis-user AMaViS-FAQ:http://www.amavis.org/amavis-faq.php3 AMaViS-HowTos:http://www.amavis.org/howto/
