I am just moving into the field of laptop performance and will start with LiSa exactly because it's supposed to be simple, I'm still to find out & currently waiting for the labtop first of all. One downside about LiSa though is that you can only have two simultaneous ins and outs, I wonder if there are any other mac programms which allow for more live channels to be sampled simultaneously.

I would be interested in doing a laptop jam once I've figured it out a little bit more. I must say though I am not a musician, I just love sound. Especially real/modified sounds because we live we these all the time anyway but are only subconsciously aware of them, for a lot of the time anyway. This subconscious 'nature' of our experience of sound makes it quite a powerfull tool. I am going to STEIM in February for a week of research and trying out - when are you performing there?
