Means of Production - California Underground Film 1989-2001 Thursday 23 and Friday 24 May at 6.30pm a 'best of' selection of recent experimental films from the West Coast, the Means of Production show will profile the work of six emerging filmmakers who have 'seized' non-traditional means of film production, including optical printing, hand-processing, and re-contextualisation of found footage. Participants include Kerry Laitala, Thad Povey, Alfonso Alvarez, Matt McCormick, and J. X. Williams Experiments in Terror - The Horror Film and Its Spawn Thursday 23 and Friday 24 May at 8.30pm includes a rarely screened collection of trailers, clips, and other celluloid strangeness from the best (and worst!) of cinematic horror.
