Hi All, at the moment I am interested in mapping/reading an area in the french pyrenees, nerar the border of spain. There are loads of 'cathar castles' here, and interesting areas to be developed as regards history..
Does anybody know of good links/research to french/spanish mythology, or anything about the cathars, history of this area? am very keen on linking mythology into modern understanding of space and using it as part of the mapping process. I use macro photography in the caves/rockfaces that keeps throwing up strange mythological figures, then I interpret these in mythological paintings based on the landscape, local characteristics..
