Hi Graham,
I totally believe that the Goma is a successfull (e.g. in visting numbers and educational work) institution. I brought up the GOMA only as another example of an "official" institution in Glasgow. The point I wanted to make was that instead of writing polite e-mails we could create alternatives which would channel our energy into something positiv. Your and John's project Museum Magogo was exactly that.

Yes, some more info would be useful regarding the CCA thing.

Re the GOMA situation - it's kind of unfair and out of date - Spalding is long gone, although the legacy is there, but they have tried new directions over the past couple of years and there have been a number of interesting shows there recently. More interesting than many to be found at other 'artist approved' Glasgow institiutions. Plus they have a good film library in the basement.
