hmmmm May I remind the ambiteers that Glasgow is only one of a variety of cities in the UK where ambit members may or may not reside.
The CCA- though an interesting example of a Lottery Rebuild gone wayward. is but 1 of many struggling, difficult and potentially important buildings. Whether ambit is losing or gaining members at this stage it most likely this is relative to the topics being discussed. I have not been impressed by the amount of emails I receive at all despite Chris Byrn'e claim that this is something remarkable. Personally I see the list as a way for people to communicate and network (irrespective of Geography). Perhaps you would like to discuss the Aberdeen Gallery Policy or Peacock Visual Arst new Citadel Development Initiative No? OK let's get on. If there are a gang of individuals so locked up in their own regional dilemma's I suggest they set up the - "I am rather upset about the Glasgow CCA situation list " and leave some server space and download time free for useful and thoughtful discussion and information sharing that is respectful to both the non-geographical and non-exclusive potential of this list. Hopefully.
