OPEN CALL FOR MOVING IMAGE ART
DNET is an open expo happening in London, spring 2003, exclusively for new
moving image work from British artists. organised by LUX
DNET offers:
an open platform for artists at all stages in their career to exhibit their
work to a national and international audience;
a platform for programmers, curators and organisations to test new projects
an opportunity for national and international visitors to see new British
work and meet the artists and UK organisations;
professional development opportunities for artists, curators and programmers
through seminars and networking events.
Open to all artists resident in the UK who are working with the moving image
in a visual arts context (experimental film, video art etc), DNET is
currently seeking new single-screen British work (produced since January
2002) for inclusion in the expo. We aim to show as
much work as possible during the event. Work will also be made available
through a videotheque and listed in the event catalogue.
Please send us a VHS tape of your work (which will be retained for
videotheque screening), and email a text, brief biography, production
details - and if possible a still for inclusion in the catalogue - to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Entry is limited to 3 works per person. If you're making new work at the
moment and would like it to be considered, please alert us now and we'll
make every effort to include it.
Exhibition formats accepted: 16mm, Super8, BetaSP, DV, DVD, CD-Rom.
