New Year, New Matters

The next issue of Matters is due out in January and is being guest edited
by us, Malcolm Dickson and Kate Tregaskis.
We are making some major changes to the magazine which will include
expanding its remit to cover a broader cross section of the visual arts
in Scotland and internationally, and increasing the level of critical
debate. A new design and format will contain 52 pages of; news;
opportunities: features; expanded exhibition reviews and previews; event
and book reviews; a new media section and free international listings.
We are looking for opportunities listings from anyone out there for
things benefiting artists in the new media + visual arts sector which
span the period February to April. This can include commissions info,
deadline on key festivals or events, anything else actually whose
deadline falls within that time. Space will be restricted anything that
does come in will be edited. THE DEADLINE FOR ANY INFO TO IS 29th
DECEMBER, BUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IS APPRECIATED. Send info direct to:
