Regarding spam-bots harvesting people's email addresses,
surely the simplest way to prevent this is protect
the relevant pages behind a member password.

In fact, many members might prefer (or insist on) the
details only being available to other members.  For all
I know it might even be a requirement of the data protection
act.

If you're still in the early stages of design you might want
to look at one of the many freeware Content Management Systems out 
there (e.g. postNuke)... you probably want to keep this info in 
a database anyway so that it's easy to keep up to date.
