Please let me introduce myself. My name is Inga Paterson and I am the
Programme Tutor in Computer Arts at Abertay University Dundee.
One of the main objectives of the BA Computer Arts course at Abertay is to
develop and maintain strong links between our University and the creative
industries.
An innovative and exciting approach is taken to teaching this course in
order to maximise the creative potential of our students, while maintaining
a strong relevance to the needs of the creative industries.
In order to enhance this approach, we have a number of guest speakers from
industry who give our students the benefit of their professional experience.
This contact is highly valued by our students and adds tremendously to their
learning experience and is delivered in a variety of ways such as,
workshops, assessment panels, talks, crits etc.
