A fair point.

Let's run with it.

Anyone have strong views on the <ambit> netiquette? Is there a "rule" or two that we should get rid of? Or would you like to add a few more?

Comments very welcome (by me at least).

Chris

These discussions, and our current theme, raise the issue of who should
have the right to determine what guidelines the list operates by. If
ambit is truly collaborative then surely the setting of guidelines should
be open to ammendment by the list membership as a whole?

If a significant number of people on the list feel that there is value in
some of the messages which have gone against the netiquette, then perhaps
it is the netiquette which should be altered rather than the behaviour of
the list members?
