Vacancy no: ECS 18/576 Can you use your arts and people skills to make change happen ? Cultural Services' arts and regeneration agency, Loca, is launching an ambitious new project on two local housing estates, in partnership with Community Support Services, Dewsbury College, Joblink and others. This part-time arts development post will put creative approaches to community involvement and skills development right at the heart of the project. We need a skilled, versatile arts worker with at least 3 years' hands-on experience of delivering participatory projects with different age groups, ideally in neighbourhood regeneration or housing estate settings. Able to respond with creative ideas to community needs, with practical arts skills and an understanding of community development issues, you will work closely with a small team of other workers to inject creative approaches into all aspects of the project. Cultural Services welcomes applications from black and ethnic minority sections of the community and from people with disabilities. All appointments will however be based on merit.
