RETAIL On the weekend of the 7th-10th of November we bring you the world premiere of Retail, a multimedia public street projection presented in the social and commercial heart of Aberdeen. Local artist, photographer and curator Rachel K Thibbotumunuwes new work Retail catalogues the abundance of empty shop and commercial spaces which are a common site across the UK. The work raises questions about commercial and city planning strategies affecting the change of our urban landscape and we are challenged to consider the impact that these corporate and economic policies have on the uses of 'pubic' space. Retail will be screened during hours of darkness on: - Friday 7th 11pm Saturday 8th 7am - Saturday 8th 7pm Sunday 9th 7am - Sunday 9th 7pm Monday 10th 7am The TUFF Villmark / Retail screening event is supported by Limousine Bull, the Scottish Arts Council (Lottery Fund) and Tranceformations Scotland Ltd.
