I'm not making excuses for this really dreary site ( good graphic design and
information architecture obviously not being part of Scotland's culture...)
but there is a disclaimer about it being in a pilot stage, maybe some
feedback would impact in a positive way?

there is always a danger in launching sites 'under construction' .... these
people obviously need help.

I agree. The agenda seems rather skewed towards tourism, at first glance. I thought I'd give Scotland's Culture another try, though...

It seems if you want visual art, the best place to look is:

'Glasgay - the UK's largest multi-arts festival for multi-sexual people and their friends'

Fair enough, there are quite often some good exhibitions during Glasgay. I wonder though what kind of visual art does Scotland's Culture put forward?

'Sorry, could not find anything matching contemporary art'

I think we should be concerned.
