There is one thing to note about this: gadgets developed on the Amdatu stack
and registered from an OSGi bundle may be registered whiteboard style, but we
still need a service to register external gadgets. So although we could support
the whiteboard style registration of gadgets, we still need a (REST) service
for registration of any external gadgets.
It should also be possible to separate whiteboard style registered gadgets from
the other, as the others can be removed while the whiteboard gadgets cannot.
