1b) Summarizing an off-line discussion: we want our PID to be unique over
frameworks, and that is an extension of the service.pid semantics, so we're
probably better off defining our own semantics here. Even though in the Remote
Services spec, the uniqueness of service.pid does seem to be extended a bit
beyond a single framework. Interesting question for the OSGI dev list maybe?
