Hello Matthias, i have tested now every possible permutation of the lfuse bits. With BODEN (brownout) activated or not and with SUT 01 or 10. Nothing works!
The only configuration that works was hfuse = 80 lfuse = AF (SUT 10 CKSEL 1111 BODEN) That is for Crystal Oscillator > 8MHz and fast rising power with brownout detection 2,7V But this is not working stable with AMForth 5.1. AMForth is simple not answering after power up! AMForth 5.5 i get not compiled. My conclusion: AMForth is not usable with an ATMega32. :-( I will give up - sorry. I was preparing this system for a friend who is a fan of FORTH. Personally i am using C now and when i flash a firmware it runs instant using the UART on this system.
