Thanks Erich and Matthias,

One way or anther I have three code snippets that look like will work
(butterfly, ewlib and wiring_analog.frt). I like the approach of adc.wait
in ewlib/adc.fs personally but it is good to have choices. Are recipes
allowed to reference community code?

I haven't built amforth since 3.x on freebsd with avra but I'll try again.
This time though I think I'll do it in a vm. We shall see if I get
anywhere next weekend. I need to retire to catch up with my hobbies.

Any updates I might have missed on the avra/native *NIX assembler for AVR?
I see a bit of activity on the avr mailing list but I'm still getting the
impression avra is out of date.

Thanks also to all for all the amforth contributions and sometimes lively
debate.
