Anytime a stock breaks out from a particular level or pattern if it
does so with increased volume it lends credence that the move is
legitimate. Does anyone know of a way to determine or show increased
volume significant enough to validate the move. I have looked at
ordinary volume histograms but it is difficult to determine unless the
volume is hugely different. Many people use volume in their trading
decisions, I'm just wondering how to show it effectively enough to
help with my trading decisions. Any help or suggestions would be very
much appreciated. Thank you.
Kindest regards,
Tim
