Can we have the same scroll down in ami in the auto analysis result window also.
So that I can just press the lower key (in the result window) and see the next stock.
also some days earlier I wrote an email showing the difference in fi bonacci extension targets and normal retracement target.
here is how u can replicate it.
The wave theory for which the fibonacci extension is used specify extension in % terms.
Like a move from 100 to 200 and then dip to 150...
the next move if the same % as in previous move would go from 150 to 300.
If I used the fi b ext took i would get only 150+100 = 250.. which is not useful.
while If draw a retracement from 100 to 200 and shift the lower part of retracement to 150 the upper lines comes at 300... (this is what is needed)
Kindly look into this.
Atleast we can have an option in fibonacci tool to use in "% terms" or "linear terms".
I description is not clear I shall send old image again.
cheers

Hello,

That's the most ridiculous statement I heard recently. Do you know that you can scroll through charts in
AB FASTER than in ANY other software product. Pick a watch list from symbol tree and just press CURSOR DOWN
key and voila - next chart.
That's simple ! and much faster than in TC2005 (you can scroll at least twenty times faster in AmiBroker)

I have used TC2005, VV, TradeStation Fastrack, and AB
My conclusion is they all offer different solutions to different problems one is looking to solve with a charting software package.
If you are looking for charts that you can flip through fast and take a peek at each one then AB is not for you and TC2005 is more
your speed.
If you are looking for a Software package where there are numerous black box scans then VV is for you
If you are wanting a Software package that allows you to backtest, EOD data, and numerous signals that you can produce then FT is
more for you
If you are wanting a flexible software platform for backtesting-Out of Sample, and the ability to chart anything you can imagine
then AB would for you
The above is just a small example I worked with each one for about a year and no longer use TC2005 , TradeStation, or VV
Then again that is me everyone is different and if we were not then there would not be so many options for us

Thanks, for the replies. I tried a trial to VectorVest Protrader and
that was too slow. I want something as fast as TC2000. I'll wait on
Amibroker if it isn't as easy as TC2000. Maybe a future update will
help.
