Hello Brian,

i use access 2003 and have installed it yesterday.

The other days when i had the crash i also had no access installed.

>Have you changed anything since your last attempt; downloaded more messages or altered settings?

Not as i know. After my last crash i have closed the program for about 10 days and started it just today and it worked.

Is your database up to date or does it end back a way?

No, it is up to date and seems to work fine.

I have downloaded the last 10k messages without any problems.

My crash always appeared when i have tried the search and especially when it gave no results.

The only bad thing now is that i can’t  use the email function from the program, this gives another error. L

Best Regards

Thomas

Fingers crossed!

When you get so many strong testimonials for a product it makes you
wonder what the heck is going on in my computer?
It shouldn't be that difficult.
I have only had crashes after searches and then it is not all
searches e.g. "Bob Jagow" searches well, "On ya Bob".
The only other glitch I have had was a hang on a message that
contained HTML or an image of some kind (#15469).
I have started to wonder about my version of Access or older
messages having a different format.
I just can't think why most other users would be OK while some are
not.

I'm not having any *luck*.
The forum is dead.
The *demon deliverer* spits the mail back at me etc.
What a shame!
I want it! I want it!
It is a good little program.
In circumstances like that I like to send the developer some pennies.
People who make good programs deserve their payday.
The program has a 2006 date on it so someone is alive in there.
Knock, knock.
I bet the PayPal is working though!

I have tried every trickaround; export to Access/import to Outlook
and putting dummy search words in the filters to bypass no returns
etc, all with moderate success.

I don't think it is anything you did.
I installed mine clean, installed the patch over the top and went
straight into it with problems from the start.
There has been no comings and goings on my computer.
I am a straight up and down computer guy; there's no fancy stuff
here to cause crashes.

What Access version are you using and how deep does your database go?
I am trying to use the whole 100K.
Have you changed anything since your last attempt; downloaded more
messages or altered settings?
Is your database up to date or does it end back a way?

I'm pleased it's working for you.
It's a groove when your programs are sweet.
