Ken, I tried to give you a good answer in your initial QP post but as I had stripped QP from my computer I couldn't give detailed examples to back up my arguments. I just remembered that I did keep the help files and an Xcel sheet I used for homework as reference material in case I return to QP one day. I've posted QPAmiCompare.xls as a group file under a QuotesPlus folder. I probably won't leave it there for long as it is incomplete. My aim was to compare AB getextradata fields with QP scan functions/fields to see what the added value of buying SPP was. I also wanted to nail down the units as I am a bit of a stickler about mathematical accuracy within derived outputs. I cut and pasted everything I could get my hands on from manuals, websites, emails, files and read mes etc. I didn't finish off for a couple of reasons.
