Hi Ron - I imagine TJ may be in bed now. I did a bit of playing with AB's
registry entries and it is not too hard if you are careful. Before doing
anything, I would probably right-click the Broker folder on the left and export
it so you can later import it if anything goes wrong. Then, I think that TJ
meant go ahead and delete the entries he mentioned, I think AB will recreate
the *default* entries if they are missing. If not, you can re-import your
export.

I have NEVER DONE anything like this before, so I did a TEST run of RegEdit
ON my XP Pro MACHINE which DOES NOT have the problem.

I tried to do a screen shot of the results, but was unable to make MW snap do
a capture of the results.

I right clicked and Copy Key Name and it did
show>HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TJP\Broker\AFLEditorCommandBars.

Am I correct to assume that "Remove All" is the same as the menu option of
"DELETE".

    Hello,

If you can not access "customize" menu, the simplest way to reset AFL
editor toolbar is to
    1. Run RegEdit

    2. Remove all
     HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TJP\Broker\AFLEditorCommandBars*
    keys from the registry.

    Best regards,

I have had something similar happen with one of Microsoft office
application (can’t recall which). Found answer on the web. (using WinXP)

Try Google for missing or disappearing toolbar.

Chris and Anthony, thanks for both of your suggestions. Unfortunately,
the "ONLY PART" OF THE VISTA TOOL BAR THAT IS REMAINING is the top colored
horizontal bar which shows the Amibroker Triangle, the filepath to the custom
indicator, and it still shows the minimize restore, and maximize boxes on the
for right end.

The right click menu gives me no additional options.

Will downloading a Fresh Copy of EXISTING USER Amibroker Version 5.00.1
fix this?? Ron D

The Vista Home Premium in my HP Notebook computer has been working
fine while running the 32 bit version of Ab version 5.00.1 ...

However, tonight, the toolbar in the formula editor abruptly stopped
showing anything.

It still works fine in my other computer which has XP Pro 64 bit. The
above image came from clicking on the HELP tab in my XP Pro 64 bit computer
which is ALSO running the 32 bit version of Ab version 5.00.1 .

Initially, the Vista Formula Editor only failed to show FILE EDIT
TOOLS and HELP, so I tried to use some of the black triangle options just to
the right of the Apply indicator Block, and I managed to make ALL of the
Formula Editor Tool Bar Dissappear.

I would appreciate hearing Ideas of how I can restore the full
toolbar exactly like this image shows from my XP 64 bit computer. Ron D
