You are right.  The 64 bit programs install to program files, the 32 bit
install to program files (x86).

I have never tried, so I'm not sure if it matters if you place them in a
different directory.  I run AB 64 bit from the  program files directory.

I just got my new system up and running with XP-64bit SP2, and want to
install AB Pro 5.20, and use it to its full advantage.  I also want to
eventually use AB with IB.

My XP-64bit has two folders for programs, "Program Files" and "Program
Files (x86)".  I guess that "Program Files" may be for 64bit
programs, and "Program Files (x86)" for 32bit ones.  Is that correct?
Does it really matter?

Which folder should I install AB in, or does it matter?  What about IB
TWS?

Are there any other questions I should be asking before proceeding with
the installation?

Thanks for your help.
