I stepped up from a similar configuration to Vista 64-bit on an new Intel i7
965 processsor-based PC with 12 GB RAM, and noticed up to a 40%-60% speed
increase on optimizations.

More importantly, I can smoothly run up to 6 instances of AB simultaneously,
with parallel WF tests (basically split up my larger WF runs into 6 sub runs).
So the overall efficiency increase for me has been substantial.
