I stepped up from a similar configuration to Vista 64-bit on an new Intel i7 965 processsor-based PC with 12 GB RAM, and noticed up to a 40%-60% speed increase on optimizations.
More importantly, I can smoothly run up to 6 instances of AB simultaneously, with parallel WF tests (basically split up my larger WF runs into 6 sub runs).
