I think you answered your own question ;<)

There is an IB plugin, that allows you to feed IB real-time data to AB, with a 
maximum backfill of about one month. Check out the download page on the AB 
site. You will also need to make some small adjustments to TWS, since it also 
needs to run in the background when feeding data to AB.
