The product key is only linked to Windows Edition (Home, Pro, Ultimate) and not 
to the language. So you can reinstall Win 7 in your native language (just to 
download or find a CD) and use your own key.

all these things are possible in Windows Live Mail.



address book you have to go to bottom left corner and chose "contacts"  (I 
believe because I have it in the Dutch language because I accidently bought 
Windows 7 Dutch version)



also you can put you Email in different folder.  In the Dutch version I go to 
the menu "Extra" and then "Berichtregels"  or Message rules,

You might want to try Mozilla Thunderbird.
Been using it for years, and it's running fine on Win7.
