Sorry Tomasz, I reset all menus to their default, still no quarterly or yearly options to be found. I should of added that in my previous reply. It restored a ton of buttons that I had previously hidden ,including intraday and hourly buttons but no qtry and yrly. When attempting to edit a watchlist whether from the symbol tab on the left ,or menu- symbol>categories the result is the same. If I take the menu - symbol >categories >watchlist route,it will allow me to edit, I hit the enter key and the new name is showing in the categories window. If I close the window and then go back to it, the new name is gone and the original name is back again. If I attempt to edit in the tree, when I hit enter, the name immediately changes back to the original name. --- In [email protected], Tomasz Janeczko <gro...@...> wrote: > > Hello, > > In windows when you are editing any list view or tree view item in-place you should press ENTER (RETURN) key on the keyboard > to accept edit. > > Plus you don't read what I told you earlier. You should RESET MENUS to default state (Tools->Customize, press "RESET"button) if you don't have certain items. > > Best regards, > Tomasz Janeczko > amibroker.com > > On 2010-07-27 03:07, triangle702000 wrote: > > > > > > Followed Symbol>Categories>Watchlist> edit name. Hit OK. Categories window closes. Click on symbol tab on the left of the screen. The name of the list I just edited is back to the original name. Go back to categories and its back to the original name there too. > > > > I can find no mention of yearly or quarterly anywhere except in the tutorial. > > > > I have v5.30.4, build date july 23,2010. > > > > I'm starting to think there was a problem with the download of the new version. I type in the new name but when I hit enter the new name disappears and is replaced with the original name. If I try to create a new watchlist with the new name,it says a watchlist already exists with that name even though the original name is displayed in the tree. > >> > >> example- I attempt to change "original" to "new". I click twice, type in "new", hit enter and the word "new" disappears and it says "original" again. Now,if I try to create a new watchlist and name it "new",it says there is already a list named "new" even though the list it is referring to is displayed as " original" in the tree.I never had this problem in the previous version. > >> > >> Also,I dont see any way to view charts in a yearly and quarterly time frame. The only options available are intraday, hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly. I've reset all the menus, and still no yr or qt. > >> > >> Also,I use Yahoo finance for data. Is there any place that provides hourly,15min etc. data for free. I understand that to view this in real time I need a subscription but I was curious if there was anywhere I could get this data at the end of the day. > >> > >> Thanks -jim > >> > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > **** IMPORTANT PLEASE READ **** > > This group is for the discussion between users only. > > This is *NOT* technical support channel. > > > > TO GET TECHNICAL SUPPORT send an e-mail directly to > > SUPPORT {at} amibroker.com > > > > TO SUBMIT SUGGESTIONS please use FEEDBACK CENTER at > > http://www.amibroker.com/feedback/ > > (submissions sent via other channels won't be considered) > > > > For NEW RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENTS and other news always check DEVLOG: > > http://www.amibroker.com/devlog/ > > > > Yahoo!
