First of all, keep logs of this!
Mail them to abuse@<name of isp he is using at the time>, include the
exact time, his hostmask, don't forget to mention your timezone.
What he is probably doing is using WinGates/Proxies. Very annoying, as
the connection is not his... And when you complain to [EMAIL PROTECTED],
with the logs, he won't be the one getting his account removed, instead
it will be some poor innocent slob who had an unsecured proxy.
Also, keep the list of idents@hosts and see if there is a pattern to
what he uses, get the network administration to deal with him, etc.
Lots of things to be done.
As far as hiding your ident@host yourself... I guess you could...
Just change your ident to something totally unlike what you have now,
along with your real name info, since a /who *partial realname* will
find your current nick.
And be sure to set yourself "invisible", /umode +i, or use the pulldown.
You COULD use AmIRC to go through a proxy, just like he is doing...
However, that would make you as bad as him.
Just place him on ignore each time... Set the ignore on his host.
/ignore *!*@hishosthere
You could change networks :) Come to addicted.beyondirc.net, and bring
your friends... hehe If he does happen to follow you and bother you,
he will not have all that much fun, I will make sure of that...
