I just wanted to say something, that is a bit off topic.... Keep up the
excellent work! :) I've never seen an IRC client as good as AmIRC yet on
any other OS, or even AmigaOS. But I only have one real request.... when
you update something, do it in the spirit of the Amiga not bloatware. Keep
AmIRC as fast as possible, and if you need or want to put in something that
eats up cpu then seriously think about making it easy to disable. And no,
I'm not running a 68000 :) The only 'complaint' I could have would be
this: Ever since I got HSIA (High Speed Internet Access) whenever I join
to the server I start lagging. I can get up to 40 seconds of it then it
drops down to .3 and is steady. Why the lag when I connect? I
automatically join 3 channels so is it that I'm joining channels too fast?
Am I somehow overrunning the sendQ and the server is ignoring me? It never
did it to me on dialup, so I think it may have to do with how fast I'm able
to talk to the server........ ? :)
Thanks!
NeRP
