> so whats happened to vapor...

Hmm, don't ask 'what happened to vapor', but ask 'waht happened to Amiga
in whole'. Yes, men, most people nowadays consider Amiga as a hobby, as,
AFAICS, vapor ever did, treating their work 'work' as their hobby. And
hey, doing something with Internet applications is not a bad hobby at
all.

> are they gonna admit that they are dead

No, they aren't, I believe, and I can see, at least for Dave, Matt and
Olli, they are still around, lookling what is going on.

> and dont intend to give us any more updates..

Hmm, what, if they are short in time. Even a beta release needs some
testings to avoid the worst and most harmful scenarios.

> run with the profits

Hmm, what profits? I think registering contributions is mostly eaten up
by vapor.com (the web site and trelatedstuff, as this mailing list).

> and bugger off to afganistan!

???

> we need updates,

Yes. We do. But we are just a small number of people still hanging with
Amiga ...

> we paid registration!

Yes, we did. But for most of us, that was long ago. And some of us
(registering NetConnect) didn't know that Olli&Co didn't receive our
money :\

> and Ive given you plenty of ideas!

Ideas, bug reports, suggestions ... Well, as Benny said before, they
have a live. it is not their solely job to implement our wishes (and I
have a lot of wishes, mostly pointig to MD2 and Voy).

To summarize, vapor is not dead, just busy.

Sorry for bad English, and maybe not being polite: it was a long night
...
