This is neither an IRCd bug nor an AmIRC bug. Its just AmIRC that do not parse 
the whois reply.

This was recently discussed on the Undernet Coder Com list which i suppose 
have archives somewhere if you want to check it out.

Since its a numeric reply not listed in the IRC RFC its unlikely to ever be 
supported directly by AmIRC and youd be better off writing a script or plugin 
to parse this for you. I used a plugin to do the same for numerous server 
replies which are not directy supported by AmIRC.
